Junk Your Stuff – Tags Using Packaging Part 1

Junk Your Stuff – Tags From Packaging

Here we go again…Junking Our Stuff. lol While creating the “Junk Your Stuff” Paper Bag Journals I used up a lot of product but I also wound up with a boat load of packaging. I started cutting the packaging into tag shapes of various sizes and started making tags using more of my stash. This first group of tags was a lot of fun to make but I have a lot of tags to make and a lot of stash to use so there will be a several parts to this series.  I hope you enjoy and get some ideas. Thank you for watching. 🙂

  1. Hi Laurie, as a beginner in mixed media, I find that I have much more success in my artful endeavors by working on smaller pieces, rather than a large canvas, for example. And I just love how you demonstrated using your scraps to create these tags! You gave me so many ideas on how to put the various pieces together to really come up with something beautiful. I’ve begun assembling everything and can’t wait to use my scraps and throw in some paint and other “stuff”, and hopefully create some cute tags myself! Thanks so much for sharing your time and creativity! Looking forward to your next post and video!

    1. Thanks so much Debbie. I think smaller pieces are easier for me too. I hope you do create some tags. I love making them. They are fun. Thanks so much for stopping by. 🙂
