Happy February. 🙂 Here is another one of those projects I worked on a few months ago where I used a lot of my paper scraps and fibers from other projects. First, I covered a 5 1/4 x 10 1/2 inch tag by Ranger with scrapbook paper. Then, I gathered up some fabric, fiber and paper scraps and a few odd die cuts I had on my desk and started layering. When I was happy with how the tag looked I cut the word “Bird’s-Eye” from my dictionary and added it where the eye of the bird would go. I also cut out the definition of the word “Birds-Eye” and glued it above the bird. At the bottom I used two metal embellishments I had on my desk too. It was simple and fast to make and it helped me use up some more of my scraps. Creating can be fun, fast and easy. I encourage you to use simple pieces at your fingertips and create a cute, funky tag or journal page with them.
Until next time,
Laurie 🙂
