Inspire-Journey – Mixed Media Canvases

MESSAGE FROM LAURIE:

Hello and welcome to the Summer Blog Hop. I’m so happy to be able to share these cute little flower canvases with you.  One is called “Inspire” because that is my goal, to inspire you in some way to help you in your creativity and the other is called “Journey” because I, like many of you, am on a creative journey.  This is one journey that I don’t mind that it has no end in sight.

Below I am sharing photos of the flower canvases I will be showing you how to create step by step in a video which will also be posted below as well as the supplies list. I hope you enjoy the process and you will be inspired to create some flower canvases of your own.

Be sure to follow the links to each of the other wonderful creative ladies participating in the hop. I know you will love each of their projects too.  I’m going to be hopping along with you to see what each artist has come up with. I know I will be inspired and I hope you will be too.  And don’t forget to read the message below from Roben-Marie Smith. She will give you instructions on how to enter her giveaway.

May Calendar

May Calendar Page

Well, I forgot to post the May Calendar page.  I remembered it when I was thinking how today is the last day of June and I haven’t done my June Calendar page yet.  Insert sigh here! lol  I’ve been pretty busy with The 100 Day Project and my latest Roben-Marie Smith Design Team Project as well as a Blog Hop coming up soon so I guess I have a pretty good excuse right?  Just agree with me, it will make me feel better for being late with my page. lol

They say “better late than never” and I hope that’s the truth because here is May’s page and June will be a little late too.  No worries. Just something to look forward to in my opinion.  🙂

The video link is below.  Thanks so much for being a part of my art journey. I’ll see you again soon.

Share Your Art With The World – Roben-Marie Smith Design Team Project

Card Holder & Cards For Your Business Cards or Art

It’s that time again…time for my second Roben-Marie Smith Design Team Project.  I hope you will take a few minutes and go to the links I provide below to Roben-Marie’s YouTube Channel and Blog where you can find the video and instructions on how you can make your own project.

This project was designed with Perforated Business Cards and Roben-Marie’s Art Pop Cards and Stickers.  You can make your own business cards, art prompts, create affirmation cards or little pieces of art to leave in various places for someone to find just to brighten their day.  However you choose to make your cards this project is super easy and fun to make.  I hope you will give it a try.

Below are more photos to show you how cute this project is and the links to instructions on how you can make your own.  Have fun.

See you soon,

Laurie

Day 51 – 64 The 100 Day Project

Day 51 – 64 The 100 Day Project – 100 Days Of Journaling Happy Mail

Hello again,

We are already on Day 64, actually since this video went up yesterday it’s really Day 65 today. I haven’t done my page for day 65 yet but I’m heading that way as soon as I finish this post.

This video is a journal flip of days 51 – 63.  At the end I was telling you I needed to do day 64 and I thought, what the heck, I’m here and the camera is on so let’s do page 65 together…so we did.

I’m looking forward to getting to day 75 because then I will feel like I am in the home stretch. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I appreciate all the kind comments and support you have given me along the way.

See you again soon,

Laurie

Day 50 The 100 Day Project – 100 Days Of Journaling Happy Mail

Day 50 The 100 Day Project

Woo hooo, half way there.  Actually, more than half way since I’m posting this a week or so after we hit day 50. If you are following along with my #100daysofjournalinghappymail Day 50 is a real-time process video. I had several people ask me if I had any videos of a slower process so they could follow along.  I decided to celebrate day 50 with a real-time video.

I’m still enjoying this project and my journal is getting super full.  I’m not even sure it will hold out for 100 days but I am going to give it my best shot. I will post photos of my journal at the end of the project. I may have to re construct it so it will close. We’ll see.

I will see you again soon,

Laurie

Day 47 – 49 The 100 Day Project – 100 Days Of Journaling With Happy Mail

Day 47 – 49 The 100 Day Project – 100 Days Of Journaling Happy Mail

Hello again 🙂

The 100 Day Project is moving right along.  Today I uploaded days 47 – 49 .  I have had a few people tell me that they would like to see the full process of creating these pages so I decided to make Day 50 a process video in real-time. That video will go up in the next week or so.  I don’t plan to make any more videos of this project except for a few flip through videos of the pages from time to time until the end of the project but I will probably create a video for Day 100 just to celebrate. I hope you have enjoyed these videos and will try using up some of your scraps and supplies to create some fun journal pages.

Until next time,

Laurie

Day 31 – 34 The 100 Day Project – 100 Days Of Journaling Happy Mail

Here we go…Day 31 – 34 is ready to go.  Time is swooshing by.  I’m still enjoying the daily creating in this Dylusions art journal using up happy mail that was sent to me several years ago. Not every page is create equal. Some came easy, some I struggled a little. Some I love and some I like.  But no matter the outcome of the page I have loved this process and I’m having fun.  Isn’t that what creating is all about?  It is for me!

See you soon,

Laurie
