If you saw my video where I created the first “Junk Your Stuff” journal (you can see that video here) then you will know that I had a lot of leftover paper from the paper pad I used. I was determined to use up that paper so I set about making another journal and I call this one “Junk Your Stuff Journal 2”. Other than three or four sheets of the paper that I kept aside, I used up the rest of the paper pad. Yay!!! In this journal I also used up a bunch of fabric scraps, embellishments, ribbons and odd and end things I have had a while. I bound the journal with rings so it would expand easily and each page has three holes with large eyelets for stability. Each page of the journal is a 12 x 12 sheet of paper folded in half. Then, I stitched paper strips, tags, fabric strips and other things on each page. I just kept building layers and each page is different. I love this journal, it’s so chunky and fun. I don’t think of this journal as complete because I can keep adding to it. I haven’t decided what to actually use the journal for but I’ll think of something.
See you soon,
Laurie
